Woman allegedly set ablaze by co-wife as a result of jealousy in owerri

 




A woman known as Uche, secured burn injuries after she was allegedly set on fire by her co-wife in Imo State. 

The deceased's sister, Nwanneka Ifurunna, who reveals this in a Facebook post on Saturday, January 7, 2023, said the incident happened in Owerri. 

"This was my beloved Sis Uchee pics, she was set ablaze by her co-wife over nothing other than jealousy. Dear sis just like u said in ur last word "see you in God's kingdom. He will call and my sis will answer, May resurrection hope promised by our loving father Jehovah continue to console all of us," she wrote. 

"The woman on whine colored outfit is the wicked woman who set my sis on fire, pls she has been declared wanted by Police,anybody with useful information on her whereabout should contact any near by police station."

 Abuja High Court located in Maitama has formerly granted Anita Okoye and Paul Okoye divorce. Recall that in August 2021, Anita Okoye filed for divorce after 8 years of their union. Anita Okoye cited five major reasons for her decision to divorce her husband: "cheating, a claimed separation, being an absent parent, fraud, and difficult experiences." She, therefore, requested a settlement of $20,000 monthly as well as a number of  Paul' houses. Earlier on, in her divorce petition signed by her lawyer, Ojonimi Akpe and Okutepa J.S, Anita had claimed that she contributed N10 million as an agreement with Paul that she would be granted space at the mall he had just completed in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
