I Married As A V!rgin At Age 33 – Chigul Says

Popular thespian and comedian, Chioma Omeruah aka Chigul has disclosed that she got married as a v!rgin at the age of 33.

She unveiled this while reacting to a post made by Basketmouth’s ex-wife on women marriage and children, some weeks after her husband made their separation public.

She said; “We were not perfect, there were good days I won’t lie. It just got to a place where we both didn’t care anymore. I have been made to believe that it was my job to keep that afloat and the fact that it sank, I take on my head.

Would I have changed anything about it? No, because it happened for a reason. I’m happy it happened at one year with no children and no attachments. I married at 33, I married a v!rgin. That was my first ever anything and it was supposed to be special and last.”

Abuja High Court located in Maitama has formerly granted Anita Okoye and Paul Okoye divorce. Recall that in August 2021, Anita Okoye filed for divorce after 8 years of their union. Anita Okoye cited five major reasons for her decision to divorce her husband: "cheating, a claimed separation, being an absent parent, fraud, and difficult experiences." She, therefore, requested a settlement of $20,000 monthly as well as a number of Paul' houses. Earlier on, in her divorce petition signed by her lawyer, Ojonimi Akpe and Okutepa J.S, Anita had claimed that she contributed N10 million as an agreement with Paul that she would be granted space at the mall he had just completed in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
